Dispatch Reworked is a complete overhaul of GTA V’s dispatch system that pushes the limits to bring you a unique experience. Additionally, with the simplicity of just a small script, you can easily install and configure Dispatch Reworked to your liking. With countless changes and over two years of development, the mod strives to be the perfect balance of realism, difficulty, and fun. And the cherry on top of all of this? There are NOT five but SIX stars in total!
Changelogs:
DR v1.2
- Created own folder for gameconfig instead of linking to GitHub which can be confusing at times. IF any new versions come out, the gameconfig in the folder will be automatically updated.
- Own gameconfig is edited so there are much lower chances at crashing. *Hopefully!*
DR v1.1
- Added six-star wanted level
- Improved sniper combat effectiveness and spawn behavior
- Added support for ped and vehicle multipliers in gameconfig
- Units have more balanced damage with adjustable difficulty setting via .INI file
- Juggernaut units can now have custom models in .INI file
- Added customizable key (default "I") to remove wanted level without issue
- Improved despawn system for on-foot units during chases
- Significantly fine-tuned unit AI for better combat, searching, and vehicle chases
- Fixed bug where some units were unarmed and resorted to fistfighting
- Reduced seeing range of some units for more balanced searches
- Fixed issue where heli pilots returned too early with available gunners
- Improved debug messages in .INI file
Features:
- A completely fresh dispatch system, written literally from scratch, that is designed to be challenging but also a lot of fun.
- 6 Stars in total
- Below 3 Stars: Only a few changes to these wanted levels. This allows for partial compatibility with other dispatch mods.
- 3 Stars and Beyond: Every wanted level has 2 phrases. At the beginning, special K9 are sent to support local police. Then, local SWAT and snipers are dispatched to handle the increasing threat. Once the situation gets more critical, federal agencies, merryweather, and NOOSE are deployed. Ultimately, the National Guard is called in and at SIX STARS they are additional heavy armor, attack helicopters, and even fighter JET units.
- Fine-tuned loadouts based on wanted level and unit.
- In the night, units will use flashlights on their guns and are more likely to use a suppressor.
- Law enforcement is more likely to utilize shotguns and other CQB weapons when a suspect is in an interior.
- Based on the weapon class, units will have differing armor, health, and behavior.
- Realistic armor and health. If you have armor-piercing rounds, you can easily kill many of the units, even the juggernaut units.
- Improved chase, combat, search, driving, and interior AI compared to the base game with the capability to be improved further. (FOR EXAMPLE, units can push on-foot into the tunnels unlike any dispatch mod out there!) But, you can further enhance AI through the use of other mods like PEV.
- All units have a greater ABILITY to arrest the player at all wanted levels if the player is being non-hostile.
- Special AI for K9s, snipers, helicopters, juggernauts, and jets which make them a lot smarter and harder to deal with.
- The last known position or LKP is used for searching and spawning to emulate real life.
- Custom spawn & despawn logic for optimal searches and chases.
- Ocean, mountain, and air response has been fine-tuned drastically so the player cannot escape without resistance.
- The spawning system, police AI, and many other optimizations have also been made depending on if the player is in an armored vehicle or is using explosive weaponry.
- Gang or group wanted severity is incorporated. Basically, crimes committed by members of your group influence your wanted level. This is a script-only feature that cannot be added through the game files.
- Killing firefighters, EMS, and security guards influences wanted levels similar to that of police officers.
- Depending on the scenario, vehicles have upgrades such as armor, brakes, engine, and transmission.
- Robust Jurisdiction system has been added to emulate Los Santos’s different agencies.
- Uses only a simple .ini file that allows you to customize the many features of the mod, including custom ped and vehicle models, weapons, difficulty, and so much more.
There are countless other adjustments and changes which help to make the mod more enjoyable and realistic.
Compatibility:
[Compatibility]:
- (STEPS IN .INI FILE) Compatible with any AI improvements and custom ped / vehicle models coming from other mods such as: RDE, PEV, DOV, WOV, VE:DGA, DispatchWorks, BetterChases+, etc. (Might not be completely compatible in terms of dispatch system or units)
- Any mod that changes ped money is incompatible with this mod.
- Any mod that overly controls the police may not work but consult the list above for examples of what works and of course, do your own testing.
- Missions may not work as well, but the mod should work regardless.
- 5x ped / vehicles spawns that come with other gameconfigs can be added by changing these lines to these values in the gameconfig:
AmbientPedsMultiplier_Base value="350"
AmbientPedsMultiplier value="500"
//OTHER VALUES (leave them unchanged)
VehicleAmbientDensityMultiplier_Base value="350"
VehicleAmbientDensityMultiplier value="500"
Feel free to lower or raise these values to fit your liking!

outdated for latest update
Oh it is outdated? I was just about to reinstall it now that I might've sorted out my texture losses outside of this mod sometimes doing it.
Can I use this with RDE with PEV addon
OUTDATED FOR ALL YOU WONDERING WHY IT AIN'T WORKIN!!!!
@PLEASEHELP9230 Don't worry, I'm currently working to figure out what the issue is.
I will get back to you, as this is a very important issue.
@briancatmaster thank you very much love this mod better than any other dispatch mods so i really hope u find the issue although when i swapped to the nightly version of shvdn it started working
@PLEASEHELP9230 Are you currently on the new BattlEye version?
@briancatmaster ye i am and i aslo disabled BattlEye in the R* launcher options
Does this mod and or RDE add a system where cops only come if the crime is reported? Because im tryna find an alternative to improved police and response mod since its buggy. This one and RDE seem like really good alternatives since theyre compatible with ea other but i want to make sure cops only come if its reported or witnessed by a cop, cuz thats my biggest issue with the police system in vanilla gta.
When I play for a while, the game crashes, how can i solve
@b_____rad Unfortunately no, but I'm close with others in the police modding community and will get back to you if I find any such mods.
@WXLlin Have you tried the two different gameconfigs that I provide in the download? The default one may not work so you could try the other one.
how can i upgrade the juggernauts? i wanna make them stronger
@briancatmaster also is there an eta on an update cuz even when i play with the script the game doesnt last 20 mins before crashing
@Franklinismymain Maybe in the future. Currently, the best you can do is make all units harder through the UnitDifficulty ratio in the .ini. 0.75 is MEDIUM and 1 is HARD.
@TOXINUOUS Join the discord, we'll be able to help you troubleshoot there. The mod should be fine maybe also ask Franklin.
@briancatmaster I just installed this mod for the first time. Everything was working working well until the notification for the Nation guard being called in was shown and the game crashed. Mind you, this happened with my modded gamecofig.xml file. So, I tried your own two gameconfig files, none of them loaded the game into single player mode, instead they both caused the game to be in the infinite loading screen. I may try to reduce some things for the national guard side, but do not know if it will fix this bug crash. Overall, the mod did not disappoint and I'll give it a 5 star rating :).
@bene10 Raise some of the values for your modded gameconfig.xml file.
Remember that gameconfig values are relative based on your PC, set-up, and other mods you need. This gameconfig is one that should be a happy medium with HIGH enough values to handle the mod while not being TOO high for your system
to handle. Of course try out the other more COMMON fixes to see if that is the cause of your problem. TRY PROGRESSIVELY MAKING THE VALUES OF THE GAMECONFIG HIGHER UNTIL IT WORKS FOR YOU!
<PoolName>ctasksequencelist</PoolName>
//OTHER VALUES (change them if these don't work)
<PoolName>CEvent</PoolName>
could you make the original gameconfig?
