WHAT THIS MOD DOES:

Now everytime you shoot a gang member from up close, they will remember you for a timeframe determined by yourself in the ini, it's a week by default

They will not remember you if you snipe them, for example, the mod only works at a range set in the ini (by default 25 meters) gives you a reason to stay out of sight by climbing up a building and using that sniper rifle when you want to mess with gangs.

Once you kill a gang member while been within the set range, they will notice your presence and reinforcements will be called, a vehicle from the gang filled with 4 members will arrive and shoot at you.

It's compatible with story mode or mods that create gang members as mission peds (Like the ballas mission with lamar, JavelinV or the gang by Dealien) which means, gangs will remember you after you finish that mission or after you kill a gang member in JavelinV/The Gang

If a gang remembers you, the gang members will try to fight you on sight, the gang will also send hit squads towards you on your daily basis until the beef is over.

3.1 HOTFIX

-Fixed the minimum and maximum time between random hit drive bys resetting when the game starts

3.2 SMALL CHANGE

-Changed most peds relationship group to the actual gang relationship group instead of a fake clone of it (Now the game actually perceives the peds as gang members)
-This increases compatibility with any mod that uses the actual game gang relationship groups and prevents the peds that are spawned in this mod from shooting peds spawned by other mod (most of the time)

-Increased the distance for backup vehicles to spawn, to give the player more time to escape before being shot.
-Added toggle in the ini to disable the gang members in the street attacking you ENABLEHOSTILITY set to true by default.

-Added a toggle to be able to beef with the families as franklin (ENABLEFRANKFAMBEEF) Set to false by default
-Fixed the issue that caused the families not to attack franklin when they were beefing.
-Fixed an issue that caused Madrazos peds spawned in the world to attack Madrazos peds spawned by backup or gang hits and viceversa, tested with madrazos peds spawning in madrazos ranch (This has not been tested with the madrazo peds spawned by the game when Trevor and Michael are banned from LS).
-Removed the armenians backup and hits, since they had the same issue as the madrazos, but couldn't be fixed the same way, if it's not done right, I'd rather not have it, non negotiable, use a prior version if you want that feature.
-Gang backup will not arrive during missions, they will instead arrive when the missions end
-Gang hits will not arrive during missions, they will instead arrive when the missions end

CHANGELOG COMPLETE:

-added toggles to disable text messages
-ENABLETHREATMESSAGES set to true by default, enables messages received when the beef starts.
-ENABLEHITTIPS enables messages received when a random gang hit spawns, set to true by default, I recommend setting it to false for immersion, will force you to constantly be looking behind your shoulder and being aware in case of an attack.

PERFORMANCE FIXES

-A few compatibility fixes with the homies.
-Optimized the code
-Fixed the major performance loss when having a lot of dead gang members around.
-Returned the armenians now they are working properly.

STEALTH UPDATE/SMALL FIX

-Changed the way a beef is obtained a member of another gang needs to SEE YOU kill one of them for a beef to be acquired.
-Fixed the range in the ini not doing nothing (It was always set to 25 meters) it was a small oversight I just noticed now.

HOSTILITY FIX:

-Hostility stopped working after last update, it's fixed now.

TO DO LIST:

-Add more variety to the text messages
-Add more variety to vehicles in the reinforcements and forecoming drive by feature.

TIPS:

-You can have an infinite fight with gang members now with the reinforcements feature, if you keep killing them they keep coming.
-If you don't want to keep fighting you have to leave and make sure the reinforcements are not following you.
-If you want to set any character beef to true in the ini, you need to set the whole gang to be in beef mode
-The beef timer restarts every time you damage a gang member of the gang you're beefing with, and with a default time of a game week, you'll have to play a lot of golf and a lot of tenis and do a lot of running away for that beef to be squashed.

BUGS (or lack of feature)
-If you're beefing with a gang and you quit the game, when you come back, you'll be beefing with them still, but the timer will begin from the start, meaning, it's 6 hours all over again homie.
-Gang peds spawned in missions don't play nice with gang peds spawned by the mod, usually, this is because Rockstar didn't assigned them a gang pedtype, instead they are mission peds, and gang peds outside missions don't consider them their allies.
-The peds spawned by the mod "THE BEEF" are gang members (script wise) if they shoot gang members of the same gang from other mod, it's because their creators are cutting corners and instead of assigning the peds the "fightagainst" task, they are assigning them the "hate player" relationship (which is not friendly with gangs), if you run into that issue, go bother other creators, I'm doing it right, they are doing it wrong.
